March 29 | 3–4pm | 213 Water Street | $15
Keep the Winter Olympics spirit high in this afternoon of New York City’s most competitive secrets. Join the Seaport Museum and Double or Nothing Media to explore the grit and glory of the city’s athletic past, from high-stakes Winter traditions on the harbor to the local legends of the early Games.
Four storytellers will take the stage: three are sharing jaw-dropping moments from New York’s sports history, but one is a masterful liar who will spin a tall tale that pads the stats. Spot the lie to win exclusive prizes!
We’ll have plenty of light bites and drinks on hand that are included in your ticket. After all, what’s a sporting event without a snack? Preregistration is encouraged for this event. Walkups will be accommodated as possible.
Enjoy More That the Museum Offers
Access to the historic ships and exhibitions on view is not included with your ticket to this event. If you would like to explore more that the Museum has to offer, book in advance or ask Museum staff about General Admission tickets when you check in.
General Admission is available Friday through Sunday, from 11am to 5pm and brings you aboard the 1885 tall ship Wavertree and 1908 lightship Ambrose at Pier 16, and into all current exhibitions on view in the first-floor Schermerhorn Row galleries at 12 Fulton Street. Your ticket also sets you on course to explore Maritime City, the Seaport Museum’s immersive, three-floor exhibition at A.A. Thomson & Co., located at 213 Water Street.
